Port Huron, MI – The Steel Shop proves, once again, that they can do more than your typical project.
The company designed, fabricated and installed trolley beams for rigging equipment to handle maintenance issues in order to reduce down time at the Domtar paper plant that produces over 116,000 tons of paper per year.
The construction was completed without interruption to the plant's production.
The Steel Shop maintains an in-house staff of quality and dedicated Professional Licensed Engineers, Certified Welders and a fully staffed and equipped fabrication shop that includes steel sheers, press brakes, pipe benders, and more. As a turnkey supplier, the company controls all aspects of the construction process from the anchor bolts up.
The Steel Shop has offices located in Michigan, Alabama, and Kentucky, enabling them to serve clients with a continuity of service regardless of where new business expansions might take them within the continental United States.
